About our speakers
Gianmichele Laquale, PhD, pastoral counsellor, psychologist and psychotherapist at UWC Dilijan
Gianmichele Laquale is a UWC Adriatic graduate, he holds a PhD in Clinical Psychodynamic Psychology and a specialisation in Individual and Group Analytic Psychotherapy. Gianmichele worked at the University of Bari (Italy) as a psychologist/psychotherapist at the Psychological Counselling Service for students and as a research assistant in Clinical and Psychodynamic Psychology at the Department of Psychology. He also worked as a staff psychologist for public and private institutions and as a school psychologist. Gianmichele has published scientific papers on topics relating to psychopathology, psychodynamic clinical treatments, forensic psychology and group dynamics.
Madhuchhanda Banerji, Senior Residential House Parent & Science Teacher
Madhuchhanda Banerji started her career as a research scientist in the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi. During her teaching career, she has worked in various schools in the UK and countries in Africa in different capacities, which included positions of Head of Sciences, IBDP coordinator and Head of Boarding. Madhuchhanda presently remains an examiner for IB, Cambridge and EDEXCEL in the subject of Biology.
