The webinar to be held on August 5, 5 p.m. Yerevan time (GMT+4) and will host Grigor Akhinov – Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Chair of Political Economy, Department of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The concept of "Digital society" (network information society) assumes a conditional division of the population into "Internet-bound" and "Internet-free" (the border between the past "Industrial society" and the future "Digital society"). The main direction in public administration reform should be the formation of e-Government. In the sphere of public Finance, the idea that the Internet is a means of communication, production, distribution, exchange and consumption of private, public and merit goods implies the construction of a "Platform State" (e-Government). By automating the entire set of management processes, a "Platform State" should provide electronic document management, which will improve the efficiency of public administration and reduce the cost of social communications.
During the webinar, Grigor will share with us why in a Digital society, we need to search for new, complexly integrated forms of change management in the labour market (the formation of the Institute of self-employment) and in the tax system.
