Conversation with the 2020 Aurora Humanitarians

The webinar to be held on August 19, 7 p.m. Yerevan time (GMT+4) and will host Angelique Namaika, Co-founder, Center for Reintegration and Development and the Saint Daniel Comboni Pediatric Clinic the Democratic Republic of the Congo; Sakena Yacoobi, Founder and Executive Director, Afghan Institute of Learning; Sophie Beau, Co-founder, SOS Méditerranée (SOS Mediterranean); Ilwad Elman, Head, Elman Peace and Human Rights Center in Somalia. The discussion will be moderated by Director of Institute of Armenian Studies, University of Southern California – Salpi Ghazarian.

Aurora Dialogues Online will focus on humanitarians’ personal journeys and plans to further expand international awareness about the causes and issues they are dealing with to change the world for the better.

Discussion language: English. Simultaneous interpretation to Armenian and Russian will be provided.

Discussion date and time: July 30, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Yerevan time (GMT+4) 6:00 p.m. Moscow time (GMT+3), 4:00 p.m. London time (GMT+1), 11:00 a.m. New York time (EDT).

The participation is free. You can join the online webinar by Zoom link (please register here) or by live streaming on Facebook. Please note that only participants who registered via Zoom will have access to Armenian and Russian simultaneous interpretation.
